Beccles residents are being invited to a community drop-in session to learn more about local services and have their say on the future of the town.

A community information and wellbeing event is being held at Blyburgate Hall on Tuesday, June 5, between 1pm and 4pm.

The event is organised by Beccles Town Council and the East Suffolk Communities team and offers residents the chance to meet local groups and organisations who provide a range of support, information and activities.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their ideas about the future of Beccles.

Mayor Elfrede Brambley-Crawshaw said: “Beccles is a thriving community with a fantastic volunteer spirit. This event is an opportunity to showcase some of the wonderful things going on to those who may not be aware.

“I am looking forward to the event and look forward to Beccles Town Council and the East Suffolk Communities team working together in the future for the benefit of the community.”

Organisations interested in having an information stand at the event are asked to contact kay.bonning-schmitt@eastsuffolk.gov.uk or call 01502 523185.
