The club are a small, friendly group who meet to share their common interest and love of photography, with their annual exhibition to be held at Beccles Public Hall on Saturday, August 11, from 10am to 5pm.

This week, the mayor of Beccles, Elfrede Brambley-Crawshaw, her family, and councillor Caroline Topping were invited to dress in suffragette clothes and be photographed by members of the club.

The remit for the club was and is to take photos of the suffrage era and produce photographs to exhibit at the Beccles Suffrage Event at Blyburgate Hall on October 13, and the Waveney District Council event on October 27.

Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the first and third Thursday of each month in the Friends Meeting House, Beccles.
